
If this were my first or second go at this, I would have been gutted. As it is, this was to be my fifth NYC Marathon. I will survive.
On Saturday, I did a very slow 20 minute run on a sunny afternoon. After stopping and showering, I felt the tightness start in my right leg, and I was limping by 7 that night. Luckily the limping was only slight and was gone by the next morning. Still, I need another three weeks off it.
